OUR story



The team behind Reign Commercial Finance has been in the financial and real estate sectors for over 20 years. We started brokering deals between leasing agencies and businesses, growing that business and utilizing the proceeds to launch a real estate investment and management firm that allows individuals to invest in its revenue stream.

Through these businesses, we confirmed an insight we had – when more than one person is invested in a business and it’s success, it’s better for business. When a lessor and a lessee find a balance between cost and profit for equipment leasing, the lessee is better able to meet demand and fulfill products and services for clients. When a seller, buyer, and tenants agree on the value of a property’s amenities, everyone gets what they need from a multifamily complex. This “stronger together” mindset plus the “win-win” mindset led us to expand our financing network to include lenders in equipment acquisition financing; commercial real estate acquisition, construction and redevelopment; business lines of credit, working capital financing and factoring, and asset based loans, to name a few.

As part of our process, we’ve committed to training and development for all of our brokers so that our team stays current on industry trends and practices. Our education focus helps us fulfill our principles of empowerment, growth and community. When we can provide information and insight, borrowers and business leaders are better able to make financing decisions and to adapt and evolve in today’s fast paced business environment.

Sofia Castro

"I built security through business. With a teamwork approach, so can you."

As an entrepreneur, I started from the ground up. My husband and I tried several ventures that didn’t work out all while holding jobs to keep the family afloat. When we purchased a how-to program on running an equipment leasing brokerage, we found a mix of skills and service that could work. We grew the business, taking on partners, and developed a niche in lending to the medical industry. We then launched a commercial mortgage company.

With strong financial skills, we began to invest in multifamily condos, then invited investors into the business, allowing the property side to grow to $450 million.

Because of our experience working with businesses, and seeing the challenges businesses have faced not only accessing funds, but also getting the information they need to make sound financing decisions, we decided to launch a new wing of the business focused on business and commercial lending.

I know what it’s like to struggle, and to turn struggle into success. That’s why I put a focus on developing business owners and working with entrepreneurial women to build intergenerational wealth. Our team is focused on the same things I learned on my journey, realizing your vision through proactive actions focused on sourcing the capital you need to grow and thrive.
